1. Can I post an Employment Opportunity and not be a subscriber to mortgagecareer.com?

Yes. You can open a non-subscriber account. The cost of posting an Employment Opportunity is slightly higher than that of a subscriber. 

It is our hope that you will see some of the many benefits of using mortgagecareer.com by posting Employment Opportunities and eventually become a full subscriber 

2. Can I hire as many people from the database as I want?

Yes. You have unlimited access to search our database of candidates and hire as many of those candidates as you would like.

3. Does mortgagecareer.com check references or verify employment information?

No. While mortgagecareer.com screens candidate records to determine they meet our database guidelines, it is the candidate’s responsibility to post accurate and true information. 

mortgagecareer.com is facilitating a dialog between candidates and companies. It is the responsibility of the hiring company to complete their normal due diligence when hiring a candidate. 

4. How do I post an Employment Opportunity?

From the mortgagecareer.com home page under the “post your” section, click on “Employment Opportunities. You log in using your username and password select “purchase additional services”. From there you can purchase as many Employment Opportunity posting credits as you like. If you do not use all the credits they will remain in your account to use at a future time.

5. Is there a limit to the amount of Employment Opportunity posting credits I can purchase and post on mortgagecareer.com?

No, There is no limit to the amount of Employment Opportunity posting credits you can purchase and post. 

6. Can I post a single Employment Opportunity that contains more than one type of position?

No, you may post one job opening for each type of position in which you are hiring. If you are looking to fill more than one position of the same type, that is acceptable and can be stated in your posting that you are looking to fill multiple positions. 

7. Does mortgagecareer.com directly offer hiring or recruiting assistance?

No. However, if you are seeking the assistance of a Mortgage Staffing and Executive Search company, please click here to link to CSI. (You will incur placement fees for services rendered by CSI).

8. Can I post a “Blind” Employment Opportunity?

Yes. You can choose to keep your company information confidential and request candidates to respond to a designated e-mail address.

1. Will I be charged a fee to post my resume?

No. mortgagecareer.com is absolutely free to candidates who post a resume and create an account. 

2. I don’t have an e-mail address. How do I get one?

There are many free Internet e-mail providers. You can set up a free e-mail account that you can check from any computer that has Internet access. You can go to our “Associations and Links” page or click here to connected to a free internet e-mail provider. 

3. Will my information be sold or used by companies not subscribing to mortgagecareer.com?

No. Your personal information will be accessed and used only by companies subscribing to mortgagecareer.com. You can choose to have your name, address and phone number unlisted when you set up your account.

4. Can I search for a position without posting a resume?

No. At mortgagecareer.com, we’re building a community where mortgage professionals can come to seek out new career opportunities and where top companies in the mortgage industry can hire and network with mortgage professionals. Also, future plans at mortgagecareer.com include a mortgage industry bulletin board, mortgage industry discussion groups and a mortgage industry company “Spotlights and Profiles” page.

It’s our goal at mortgagecareer.com for you to feel like you have found a “home” for your professional credentials that you can maintain and update on a regular basis. It is our hope that you will keep an active account with mortgagecareer.com for the duration of your mortgage career.

5. Do I need to maintain my account?

Yes. It’s a good idea to make sure that your information is current so that companies interested in you will have up to date information. You will be required to log in to your account at least once every 90 days to keep your account active. We hope that you will want to maintain your account and visit our website even if you are not actively seeking a new position. 

Mortgagecareer.com offers insight on seeking new positions, career advancement and advice. We will also be adding a mortgage industry update page that will help keep you informed about important issues taking place in the mortgage industry.

6. Can I close my account?

Yes. You may at any time close your account by e-mailing support@mortgagecareer.com  with a request to close your account.
